Begin on 45a at the mishna. Learn the mishna with Rashi and tosfos dh shlosha. What is Demai and Kusi? See Rav (Bartenura) in mishnayos that explains these two terms. What does the end of mishna mean when it says “ad kamah mezamnim”? See Rashi dh ad kamah. see Pnei Yehoshua on Rashi dh shamash that explains why the mishna says that the shamash ate a kazayis, something that the mishna doesn’t mention earlier.
