There seems to be a contradiction in the Rambam that he says שבות במקדש is totally permitted and yet in regards to a שבות רחוקה it’s אסור?

This seems to contradict תוסי דף נ: “ורבנן who said the musical instruments were not played during the simchas Beis Hashoeva as due to the numerous instruments many would break frequently and would need to be fixed?

What is the reason why playing musical instruments are permitted? Is it because the mitzvah of Simcha for the Nisuch Hamayim is only drabanan or because it’s not part of the avodah?

Tosfos asked – We have a rule אין שבות במקדש and playing musical instruments are only prohibited from a gezira drabanan so why did the rabanan not allow the playing of the instruments for the שמחת בית השואבה on Shabbos or Yom Tov? Tosfos answered because the music played was just because of שמחה יתירה.

How does that conform with the reason that Tosfos “דף נ: “ורבנן gives that there were many musical instruments and they were prone to breaking that needed to be constantly fixed?
We learnt the פרי מגדים אשל אברהם ס’ שס”ב ס”ק ג (in middle) who made a split between naturally formed and man made covering which the area underneath would be permitted to carry.
Learn פרי מגדים משבצות זהב ס’ שנ”ח ס”ק א who discusses why even according to the Rishonim who explain our Gemara קרפף ג’ סאה וקירוי סאה is operating with Pi Tikrah still they agree that a covered Karfef is permitted to carry inside of.
Is it permitted to carry inside a large warehouse that is more than a בית סאתים?

Yesterday we asked a major contradiction in the Shulchan Aruch whether we say פי תקרה יורד וסותם on an angled roof. The שו”ע או”ח ס’ שס”א, ב says we do not, yet the שו”ע או”ח ס’ שנ”ח סע’ יב (especially see the language of the Tur) says we do.
The Shulchan Aruch seems to contradict itself as to why a קרפף יותר מבית סאתים that has a roof on top of it is permitted to carry inside? See פרישה ס’ שנ”ח אות ז
