Regarding the gemara that says that one does not have to repeat benching if he forgets yaleh veyavoh on Rosh Chodesh, see Rambam hilchos Brachos perek 2 halacha 13. See Hagayos Maymonis on the bottom os 7 that discusses repeating on Chanukah and Purim. See Eimek Bracha (page 62 os 3) for a discussion of this. Regarding the discussion of benching on a kazayis, is that a chiyuv min hatorah or derabanan? See Shulchan Aruch siman 184 sif 6 and siman 197 sif 4.

Begin on 49a at the two dots, 15 lines down. Learn until 49b, 7 lines from the top, amar Rav Idi bar Avin. Learn tosfos dh lomer and dh baruch. On the first gemara that discusses saying malchus in hatov vehameitiv, not in the bracha of bonei yerushlayim, why would one not say malchus where it belongs, in the bracha of bonei yerushalayim? Tosfos dh lomer should answer this point. Rabeinu Yonah on 36a dh aydi says another reason. What is a nafka minah between the two reasons? On tosfos dh baruch, there is a very obvious question on tosfos that can be found in the Mahrsha. See carefully Rashi on the top of 49b dh vehadar that says what one repeats if he forgets to mention shabbos in bentching. See Rambam hilchos brachos perek 2 halacha 12 with the Ravaad that brings a machlokes about this.

Very quickly review last : משנה כב

Questions:
  • Why is the מלקה exempt when the נלקה dies due to the lashes? (See רש”י ח.  “ושליח ב”ד)
  • When the מלקה adds an extra lash resulting in the death of the נלקה the  מלקה go to גלות. Why? גלות is only for an accident, and this is negligence? (See ריבן , ריטב”א )  (Extra See רמב”ם רוצח ה,ו & ה’ ראב”ד
