We learnt a machlokes between the Mechaber and the rema in regards to reheating liquids that were cooked previously.
The Mechaber rules it is prohibited to reheat liquids that were cooled down below the temperature of יד סולדת בו
(See שולחן ערוך אורח חיים ס’ שי”ח סע’ ד)
The Rema brings the opinion that אין בישול אחר בישול even by liquids but than rules that if the liquid cooled down entirely then it is forbidden
Major Question:
The Rema says that if the liquid did not cool down fully than it is permitted to be reheated.
Violation of cooking liquids is when the liquid reaches יד סולדת בו
Why should it matter if the liquid is still warm as long as it is under the temperature of יד סולדת בו it should be prohibited to reheat?
We learnt a machlokes between the pri Megadim and the chazon is as to the base ruling of the Rema
Pri Megadim – reheating cooked liquids is a Torah prohibition.
Chazon ish – it is permitted
