Question:
- What is the כלאים in the case of שור פסולי מוקדשין ? (Three explanations ריב”ן “המרביע”, תוס’ ” שהרי”, ריטב”א “אמר )
Learn משנה and :גמרא כב until first set of two dots.
The גמרא explains why we only give 39 lashes when the תורה says 40 from the way the תורה writes the order of the words in the פסוק.
Learn the ראשונים who seem to give an entirely different reason then the גמרא
See ריטב”א , and רמב”ם ה’ סנהדרין י”ז,א
Points to ponder:
- How can they give a different reason then the גמרא?
- What is a נפקא מיניה between the explanations?
– On previous גמרא:
The גמרא concludes משנה does not hold of איסור כולל .
- So how could יו”ט be חל on שמיטה?
- How could נזיר be חל on כהן?
