Question:
The practice in most shuls is that the Chazzan only shakes the Lulav during הודו לה’ and the first line of יאמר נא and the public shakes the Lulav during each הודו לה’ that is said in response to all the יאמר נא & יאמרו נא. What is the explanation of this practice as it’s not in accordance with any of the opinions above ?
