Major Question:

There seems to be a contradiction in the Rambam that he says שבות במקדש  is totally permitted and yet in regards to a שבות רחוקה it’s אסור?

This seems to contradict תוסי דף נ: “ורבנן who said the musical instruments were not played during the simchas Beis Hashoeva as due to the numerous instruments many would break frequently and would need to be fixed?

What is the reason why playing musical instruments are permitted? Is it because the mitzvah of Simcha for the Nisuch Hamayim is only drabanan or because it’s not part of the avodah?
