Question:
In a city eruv does a garden or farm (planting area larger than two סאה) which does not have a fence around it disqualify the Eruv?
How do we rule l’halacha?
The שולחן ערוך או”ח ס’ שנ”ח סע’ ט & י (just first half of סע’ י) clearly rules that planting a garden in a חצר negates the דירה just like in a קרפף and if it’s larger then בית סאתים it is prohibited to carry inside.
