What are the permissible methods to reheat a cold potato kugel on Shabbos morning?1. Near the fire even if the fire is open2. On top of a crock pot or inverted pan that is on the fire.3. Not sure if we can place directly on a blech, i think there is a distinction between Sefardim and Ashkenazim but don’t remember.

May one place a pickle on top of a piece of hot yerushalmi kugel? The question is whether a pickle is considered cooked. For Kashrus pickling is considered cooking from the torah but for shabbos we think it is only cooking drabannan. If it is cooking drabannan, then you can not place on top.

May one place a piece of hot potato kugel on his plate on the area that has salad dressing?no, the kugel is a dvar gush and is considered a kli rishon. A cooked liquid that has cooled cannot be reheated via a kli rishon. We think most salad dressing are not cooked.

Is hot water from a Kli Rishon placed into a thermos considered a Kli Sheini or Kli Rishon?

May one reheat a frozen challah?

May one place a raw apple into a pot of hot water Kli Rishon?

Can one bake an egg in the sun?
