The Gemara answered the contradiction between the Mishna and the Braissa in the opinion of the Rabanan by explaining the case of פסי ביראות has שם ד’ מחיצות by the case of the Braissa of a street with walls on two sides with a lechi/Korah on both ends is not שם ד’ מחיצות. Since we rule that a Lechi is considered a Mechitza how could the Gemara say the case of the Braissa is not שם ד’ מחיצות?
