We learnt the פרי מגדים אשל אברהם ס’ שס”ב ס”ק ג (in middle) who made a split between naturally formed and man made covering which the area underneath would be permitted to carry.

Major Question:

Yesterday we asked a major contradiction in the Shulchan Aruch whether we say פי תקרה יורד וסותם on an angled roof. The שו”ע או”ח ס’ שס”א, ב says we do not, yet the שו”ע או”ח ס’ שנ”ח סע’ יב (especially see the language of the Tur) says we do.

1. Clarify the answer given by the Beis Meir brought by the משנה ברורה ס’ שנ”ח ס”ק צב 

2. The ט”ז שס”א ס”ק ב gives a novel answer
