Conclusion of Sugya – Holding a pail of water for an animal which is only partially inside a Reshus Hayachid to drink.

Questions:

Do we conclude l’halacha like the לישנא קמא or the לישנא בתרא?

The Gemara did not resolve the question of either the the לישנא קמא or the לישנא בתרא. How do we conclude l’halacha in regards to the unresolved question?

If person holds the pail of water and moves his hand out to the Reshus Harabim he still does not violate the melacha of hotzah as he never placed the pail on the ground?
