We discussed an argument between the מרדכי and the ש”ך
The (מרדכי (פסחים פרק שני אות תקמז derives from the prohibition to smell the Haddasim that it is only forbidden to smell איסורי הנאה whose primary function are to produce a nice fragrance. But if scent is not the primary function than it is permitted to smell them as we apply the rule דייט לאו מילתא

The ש”ך יו”ד ס’ ק”ח ס”ק כז disagrees and says that our Gemara implies the opposite. Only in regards to muktza is it permitted to smell the item if it’s primary function is not for smell. But for איסורי הנאה it is prohibited to derive pleasure from their fragrance regardless of their primary or secondary purpose.

Questions:
What is the point of disagreement between the מרדכי and the ש”ך?
The מרדכי – Special drasha that the Daled minim are consecrated to Hashem.
The ש”ך – They are designated for a mitzvah.

Why does Rashi list both the reason of חל שם שמים – איסור הנאה and מוקצה?

If the source for the prohibition is the drasha which makes the Haddasim into איסורי הנאה than why is it permitted to smell an Esrog?

Rabbah and Rava disagree when there’s a separated leaf from the haddasim or Aravos whether it is considered a חציצה
What is the additional chiddush in the argument betwéen Rabbah and Rava by the case of the cut off leaves of the Lulav?
Why does the Rif and Rambam not bring the halacha of the case of cutting off the bottom of the lulav when it’s inside the bundle?

Why would a separated leaf stuck between Hadas and Lulav be a Chatzitza? Earlier we only discussed a chatzitza between one’s hand and the daled minim, where is the source that the daled minim needs to be stuck together without a separation?
