Questions:
According to the first explanation does Abaye and Rav Yosef hold קורה משום היכר or קורה משום מחיצה?
Rashi (רש”י דף ד: “מותר) discusses the need to see the קורה so why does Rashi need to add that we view the edge of the קורה as descending and creating a closure. It seems that Rashi is requiring both the element of היכר and מחיצה?
