Begin on 45b, 8 lines from the bottom, ba umatzan. Learn the gemara with Rashi until the two dots halfway down 46a. See tosfos dh Rav Zvid on 45b and dh ha and dh lo on 46a. On the gemara that discusses one who comes and finds 3 people in the middle of a zimun, see tosfos dh Rav Zvid and Rosh siman 9 for the wording that one should say. See Mishna Brurah in siman 198 sif 1, especially sk 2 with Shaar Hatzion sk 2 that asks why is this different from one who answers borchu, that is permitted to answer even though he did not hear the chazan say borchu. On the gemara that discusses answering amen to ones own bracha, see carefully Rashi dh ha bebonay and tosfos dh ha. Begin on 45B, at the two dots amar Rava, on the sixth to last narrow line. Learn the gemara until the very end of the amud (until Rav Zeira on the top of 46a. See Rashi and tosfos dh Rav Zvid and dh ha. On the first gemara that discusses one being mafsik for two, see Rashi carefully in dh echad mafsik leshnayim. See Rabeinu Yonah (page 33a dh de’ayn) that says a different pshat in the gemara. See Rosh siman 7 that brings the machlokes Rashi and Rabeinu Yonah and Ravaad. Do Rabeinu Yonah and Ravaad argue? The Rosh adds an important detail in Rashi, see Ma’adanei Yom Tov on the bottom of the Rosh sk alef that brings a source to this from the gemara. Rambam hilchos Brachos perek 7 halacha 6 seems to have a third pshat, see Kesef Mishna there. See Divrei Chamudos on the Rosh sk 17 that brings Rashba that says what the Ravaad that is quoted in the Rosh says. The Rashba quoted there brings a big chidush from Rav Hai gaon.
