Rashi &amp; the \u05d7&#8217; \u05e8&#8221;\u05df &#8211; Adding \u05e4\u05e9\u05d5\u05d8\u05d9\u05df \/middle panels is noticable that it was placed there to reduce the size of the gap which is not as clear by just extending the \u05d3\u05d9\u05d5\u05de\u05d3\u05d9\u05df.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\">2. The \u05e8\u05d9\u05d8\u05d1&#8221;\u05d0 &#8211; Adding \u05e4\u05e9\u05d5\u05d8\u05d9\u05df \/middle panels is more preferred than extending the \u05d3\u05d9\u05d5\u05de\u05d3\u05d9\u05df when the width of the enclosed space between the \u05e4\u05e1\u05d9 \u05d1\u05d9\u05e8\u05d0\u05d5\u05ea are less than 20 Amos as the \u05e4\u05e9\u05d5\u05d8\u05d9\u05df will divide the gap in half making each gap smaller than 10 amos.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\">However when the width of the enclosed space between the \u05e4\u05e1\u05d9 \u05d1\u05d9\u05e8\u05d0\u05d5\u05ea is more than 22 Amos extending the \u05d3\u05d9\u05d5\u05de\u05d3\u05d9\u05df is preferred as that will result in \u05e2\u05de\u05d5\u05d3 \u05de\u05e8\u05d5\u05d1\u05d4 &#8211; more solid walls than gaps on each side.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\">The question of \u05d0\u05d1\u05d9\u05d9 is whether \u05e8&#8221;\u05de required \u05e4\u05e9\u05d5\u05d8\u05d9\u05df as most times it is more beneficial as&nbsp;the width of the enclosed space between the \u05e4\u05e1\u05d9 \u05d1\u05d9\u05e8\u05d0\u05d5\u05ea is usually less than 20 Amos<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\">3. The \u05d7&#8217; \u05de\u05d4\u05e8&#8221;\u05dc &#8211; perhaps extending the \u05d3\u05d9\u05d5\u05de\u05d3\u05d9\u05df although it physically reduces the size of the gap is insufficient as the concept of \u05e4\u05e1\u05d9 \u05d1\u05d9\u05e8\u05d0\u05d5\u05ea is four corners composed of an \u05d0\u05de\u05d4 for each panel with a maximum of 10 Amos gap in between.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\">How do we conclude lhalacha?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\">See last line of \u05e8\u05d9\u05d8\u05d1&#8221;\u05d0 \u05d3\u05e3 \u05d9\u05d8: &#8220;\u05d1\u05e2\u05d0 \u05de\u05d9\u05e0\u05d9\u05d4<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\">See \u05e8\u05d1\u05d9\u05e0\u05d5 \u05d7\u05e0\u05e0\u05d0\u05dc (on side of the Gemara)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\">Bring a proof from \u05e8\u05d1\u05d9\u05e0\u05d5 \u05d7\u05e0\u05e0\u05d0\u05dc according to which of the three explanations of \u05d0\u05d1\u05d9\u05d9 inquiry he is aligned with.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\">Learn the second &#8220;\u05d1\u05e2\u05d0 \u05de\u05d9\u05e0\u05d9\u05d4 \u05d0\u05d1\u05d9\u05d9 \u05de\u05e8\u05d1\u05d4&#8221; (sixth wide line) until the third \u05d1\u05e2\u05d0 \u05de\u05d9\u05e0\u05d9\u05d4 \u05d0\u05d1\u05d9\u05d9 (middle of the Amud)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\"><strong>Questions<\/strong>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\">What is the uncertainty of \u05d0\u05d1\u05d9\u05d9?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\">Why does \u05d0\u05d1\u05d9\u05d9 have reason to believe \u05e8&#8217; \u05d9\u05d4\u05d5\u05d3\u05d4 would have a different position than \u05e8&#8217; \u05de\u05d0\u05d9\u05e8 in regards to this question?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\">There are three explanations in the Rishonim<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\">1. Learn Rashi<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\">2. Learn \u05e8\u05e9\u05d1&#8221;\u05d0&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\">3. Learn \u05e8\u05de\u05d1&#8221;\u05dd \u05d4&#8217; \u05e9\u05d1\u05ea \u05e4\u05e8\u05e7 \u05d9\u05d6 \u05d4\u05dc\u05db\u05d4 \u05db\u05d8 and the \u05d7&#8217; \u05e8&#8221;\u05df&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\">Learn \u05ea\u05d5\u05e1&#8217; &#8220;\u05d5\u05d0\u05dd&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\">Bring a proof from \u05ea\u05d5\u05e1 according to which of the three explanations of the first inquiry of \u05d0\u05d1\u05d9\u05d9 he is aligned with.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\">The Gemara quotes \u05e8&#8221;\u05d9 who says there is a difference in size of gaps between \u05e4\u05e1\u05d9 \u05d1\u05d9\u05e8\u05d0\u05d5\u05ea (allowed 13 1\/3 Amos) and \u05de\u05d7\u05d9\u05e6\u05d5\u05ea (allowed 10 Amos).
