Quickly review the :גמרא כ”ז after the second משנה  until the two dots.

Questions:
According to ר”מ a shul can only be sold with the stipulation that it can be purchased back.
  • The :גמרא כ”ו says it’s forbidden to rent or use a shul as collateral.  According to ר”מ why is this worse then selling a shul with the stipulation that it can be purchased back?  See “תוס’ כ”ו: “אוגרה
  • Does תוס’ learn like רש”י or the ר”ן?

Learn the גמרא from the two dots until “שאלו תלמידיו” (three lines from the bottom of the עמוד)
 
Questions:
  • Is there an answer for the גמרא  question as to what is the novelty of שמואל halacha? See רשב”א
  • According to the רבנן does one need to stipulate in the sale of a shul that it may not be used for the four degrading modes of use? See רשב”א

    • The גמרא says that if reports are being circulating about an individual involved in illicit relat it is permitted to degrade him. How is it permitted to believe these reports ? Why is it not לשון הרע?

    • Whose honor are we concerned about when reading מעשה ראובן?  See ר”ן
    • What is so bad about keeping the מצות because of reward or punishment? Doesn’t the גמרא פסחים say a person should always start performing מצות שלא לשמה because that will bring a person to person them לשמה? See תוס’ רא”ש and רשב”א
    • Why are we not concerned for the lack of respect to דוד המלך by translating the stories of אמנון & אבשלום  See ר”ן
    • Since we פסקן like ת”ק that we do translate”הודע את ירושלים” so why was the person who translated it in front of ר”א punished?  See ר”ן
    • Why are the sins described by ”הודע את ירושלים”worse then other portions in נביא which we do translate? See תוס’ יו”ט
    Continue the גמרא  until the end of the פרק
